We’ve been wearing, studying, and testing classic Fisherman smocks from around the globe for many years.  Building on everything we loved about this classic, our signature prune smock is inspired by the work of pruning, something any good gardener will tell you is more of a philosophy than a chore.

As is the case with all pruning opportunities, it’s not merely enough to consider cropping, and accordingly, our prune smock is not merely distinguished by its cropped, subtle bell sleeves or cropped length. We’ve worked to perfect a generous, boxy fit that balances movement & encourages drape throughout. The front patch kangaroo pocket is perfect for holding a folding saw or that giant phone and distributes weight beautifully. Made of a goldilocks 7.8 oz. Japanese printed twill, these smocks are designed to be worn year round, indoors and out.   Using a twill that’s printed rather than dyed, we get a worn, almost heathered look right off the bat —this is something that's generally difficult to pull off without using lots of water and wash cycles.  Offered in an earthy, indigo blue with camel binding.
