We’ve been wearing, studying, and testing classic Fisherman smocks from around the globe for many years.  Building on everything we loved about this classic, our signature smock features a stand up collar, drop shoulder, and a split back to work with, not against you. Perfecting the balance of rugged and drapey, our smocks are designed to get better with age, and are generous enough to be worn year round.   A scooped, balanced hem is designed to sit slightly longer in back while the back itself is split to encourage movement & improve drape. Two giant front pockets are big enough for that giant phone.

Having made both heavier and lighter weight versions of our smock, we landed on a goldilocks twill for this most recent version. Milled in Japan, this earthy, moss green twill is printed rather than dyed, which imparts an almost heathered look —this is something that's generally difficult to pull off without using lots of water and wash cycles.
