Merino Deck Sweater

$179.00

Inspired by a stalwart, vintage Korean War Naval deck sweater, and the archive of Fall River Knitting Mill, our newest knitting partner in neighboring Fall River, Massachusetts. I still can’t believe these sweaters are made 15 minutes from our shop door by a family run operation that spans 100 years.

This year we turned back to Merino to offer this unisex fit in two ultra soft & distinctive shades of green. This 100% Responsible Wool Standard Extrafine Merino Wool from Australia holds its shape beautifully through consecutive days (er, weeks) of wear. An ever so slightly dropped shoulder, gently tapered waist and a roomy body make for a truly easy to wear unisex silhouette. This is a sweater that’s ready to take a beating, yet somehow manages to look impeccable dusted off before an important meeting.

A perfect layer over and other other pieces as the temperatures yo-yo up and down, which seems to be the new normal here in southern New England. We recommend ordering your normal size, or the size you’ve previously ordered, unless you are looking for an especially roomy or slim fit.

  • Knit in Fall River, Massachusetts with ultra soft, imported, 100% Extrafine RWS (Responsible Wool Standard) Merino wool

  • Machine wash cold/ delicate, lay flat to dry

  • Mock neck roll neck

  • 2 distinctive shades of green: Black Pine & Vintage Fatigue
